She looked huge next to the other baby getting baptized but we really wanted her to be baptized at our new church. She did great! She let the pastor hold her and everything! Beginning Dec. 1, Jonas really enjoyed opening 1 door every day and sometimes finding a Hershey's kiss! Jonas had so much fun with his big cousin, Colin, today. Jonas loves to follow Colin around and try to do what he is doing. If Colin picks up sticks so does Jonas. So this morning I got a phone call at work from my doctor's office letting me know that my doctor was already inducing someone else Monday morning and that they would have to reschedule me for Tuesday, Feb. 17th! AAAHHH!!!! It is still earlier than next Sat. the 21st and I could still go into labor on my own...but it was a bit of a bummer to get that phone call. Thanks for all the prayers!

Well we are going to the doctor every week now. We had an appointment today and there has been no change. This little girl is hanging in there for now. The doctor said she could come any time now and everything would be fine...so that was a relief. We will go back again next Wednesday to be checked again to see how things are progressing.

I don't have any new pictures of Jonas so I decided to post one of him in the hospital. It is hard to believe that was only 8 months ago. Life sure has changed in so many ways for us over the past 8 months. I am back into the full swing of teaching again...this year I am teaching Kindergarten. It was so beautiful yesterday that I decided it was time to plant some flowers on the front porch. This past week Mal became the third host of a podcast called Christian Gamers 2.0. He really enjoyed getting to talk about video games, movies, and his faith. He will be doing the podcast every Sunday night and I think it is available to download from itunes every Monday. It is a great outlet for him. Tonight we had the privilege of watching our nephew, Colin. He LOVES his new cousin, Jonas. Every time he sees Jonas he makes cooing noises and pats his head. Colin enjoys putting his pacifier in for Jonas and holding him. Colin really likes holding Jonas and giving him gentle and not so gentle squeezes.
