Well we are going to the doctor every week now. We had an appointment today and there has been no change. This little girl is hanging in there for now. The doctor said she could come any time now and everything would be fine...so that was a relief. We will go back again next Wednesday to be checked again to see how things are progressing.

Random life with a 1 year old
"Check out how helpful I am being to mommy! Oh, and check out my sweet mullet!"
"I figured out this thing is on wheels - all you gotta do is pull it all the way out - it is so fun to push all around the kitchen floor. I love being helpful!"
"This is the cleanest raisin ever! Not only did it go through the wash but it went through a cycle in the dryer too! Is that how they make raisins?"
"I found all this cool stuff in this bag and some of them sound like a rattle when you shake them."
"Let's see...what else is in this bag...anything good?"
"Yep! I've made my decision - these are the ones I want!"
What happened in this picture? (you might be asking yourself). Well, this is what happens when you leave your foot lotion in the living room and your 1 year old plays with it and leaves it on the floor...then your husband comes through the living room...and SPLAT! there goes mama's foot lotion! I guess I took a picture of this because it represents so much of how things go on a day to day basis in our life. I try to tell myself that I just need to find the humor in each of these situations.

Happy New Year!
Jonas is SO happy to be in his big boy car seat! Now that he is a year old he gets to face forward. He has also taken several steps the past couple of days. I am trying to get it on video...He is changing so much! I am so thankful that I have been home these past 2 weeks to watch him as he discovers more about the world around him. We feel so blessed that we have been able to have him in our lives this past year and can't wait to watch him grow and learn in 2009! We are also very excited about our new addition coming in Febuary!
